Product & Manufacturing
Q: What makes Excite Workshop aero kits different from others? A: It comes down to the material and the cure. Most competitors use “Chopped Strand Mat,” which is heavy, brittle, and cheap to produce. We use a Hybrid Fiberglass Cloth layup. This makes our parts lighter, stronger, and more flexible—perfect for the abuse of drifting. Additionally, we use extended mold cure times to prevent the warping seen in mass-produced kits.
Q: Do your parts come painted? A: No. All our parts ship in a protective Gel-Coat finish (usually white or grey). This is not a final paint job. It is designed to be sanded, primed, and painted by your body shop to match your vehicle.
Q: What is “Hybrid Cloth”? A: Think of it as the middle ground between standard fiberglass and carbon fiber. It uses a woven structure (rather than chopped bits of glass) which provides significantly higher structural integrity and impact resistance while keeping the weight low.
Q: Do you sell individual replacement parts? A: Yes! We know drifting happens. If you smash a front bumper or crack a side skirt at the track, contact us. We can often sell individual pieces so you don’t have to buy a full kit again.
Fitment & Installation
Q: Are these kits “bolt-on”? A: No fiberglass body kit is truly “100% bolt-on” like an OEM metal fender. While our molds are engineered for precision fitment, professional prep and installation are required. You should expect some sanding, shaving, and gap alignment to get a perfect finish.
Q: Can I install this myself? A: If you are experienced with fiberglass work, yes. However, if this is your first time dealing with aftermarket aero, we highly recommend taking it to a professional body shop that specializes in customs or composites (not just a standard collision repair center).
Q: Does hardware come with the kit? A: Generally, no. In most cases, you will reuse your factory OEM bolts, clips, and mounting points. For drift cars, many customers opt for quick-release fasteners or heavy-duty zip ties for easy removal at the track.
Shipping & Returns
Q: How are the parts shipped? A: Large items like bumpers, hoods, and side skirts ship via Freight Carrier. Smaller items may ship via standard ground services (UPS/FedEx).
Q: What if my part arrives damaged? A: Inspect your package immediately upon arrival while the driver is present. If the box looks crushed or the part is broken, REFUSE the shipment and contact us immediately. If you sign for a damaged box without noting it, we cannot file a claim for you.
Q: How long does shipping take? A: In-stock items typically ship within 3-5 business days. Freight shipping times vary by location but usually take 5-10 days on the road. If an item is on backorder or “made-to-order,” we will contact you with an estimated lead time.
Q: Can I pick up my order locally? A: Yes! If you are local to Dayton, OH, select “Local Pickup” at checkout to save on shipping costs. We will email you when your order is ready.
